To the best of my knowledge and experience the puppy is in excellent Health at this time. Seller warrants that every precaution has been taken to insure the physical soundness and mental stability of this puppy to date. Puppy is active, eating well and has normal stools. The puppy has received its first set of shots/de-worming. Even though the puppy has been treated we cannot guarantee the puppy to be free of worms or parasites.
Puppy is not fully protected until it receives all boosters/repeat de-worming. The Buyer has been advised that a puppy should not be taken around other animals that have not been protected against the normal diseases until the puppy has competed the third series of puppy vaccinations and been advised by their own veterinarian. Therefore we strongly urge you to take the following precautions:
1. Visits to the vet: Never put your puppy on the floor or the ground inside or outside of the clinic, instead carry your puppy or use a pet carrier.
2. Dog parks, pet shops, puppy preschool and areas where other dogs of unknown health may have visited, should be off limits until your pup has completed his/her series of puppy shots.
It is the sole responsibility of Buyer to continue vaccinations to completion. Seller is not responsible for any vet expenses for such at anytime.
The puppy is guaranteed for 48 hours from the date and time the buyer take possession against infectious diseases such as parvo, corona, or distemper, these are highly contagious diseases and they can be contacted immediately after leaving the Breeder. Seller is not responsible for any illnesses / diseases that the puppy could acquire after leaving our premises. The breeder has no control over the puppy’s/ dog new environment, exposure, food intake, veterinarian care and socialization once it leaves breeder’s home and breeder’s possession.
We guarantee the puppy to be free of any life threatening congenital defects for one year from the puppy's date of birth. If upon examination by a licensed veterinarian of your choice, this puppy is found to have a life threatening congenital health defect, have your veterinarian document this condition with a written, signed statement clearly stating the symptoms, exact problem, severity, and the tests that have been done to prove it. (Please understand we will need medical proof of a life threatening genetic defect, the guarantee cannot be based on a theory, even if from a veterinarian.) The buyer will then notify the seller of the situation within 2 business days. Failure to return the written report within 24 hours invalidates this contract. If, by a licensed veterinarian, the puppy is found to have a life threatening congenital defect the seller will replace the puppy with one of equal value upon availability (within one year) or buyer may choose to keep the puppy and accept all responsibilities, with the buyer understanding that no refunds will be given and the replacement puppy may not be from the same parents as the original puppy. If the buyer rejects a replacement puppy then all sales become final. Seller also reserves the right to have a second vet of choice evaluate the condition within ten days following the receipt of the animal before any exchange will be issued. Buyer is responsible for all transportation and/or shipping costs to replace the puppy and seller is not responsible for any veterinary expenses related to the certification that the animal is unfit or otherwise. If a puppy is to be replaced the returned puppy must be accompanied by a written statement from a licensed veterinarian indicating that: all shots are up to date, and that the puppy/dog appears to have been well cared for. If the puppy dies within one year from the date of birth a necropsy must be performed to determine if the reason was genetic or congenital. The buyer will be responsible for these charges and in no way is the breeder responsible for payment of this exam or any other medical bills. Buyer understands that the following genetic or congenital defects are not considered serious or life threatening and therefore are not covered by this guarantee: umbilical hernia, inguinal hernia, cherry eye, dry eye, blindness, hereditary cataracts including juvenile cataracts- any cataracts, glaucoma, conjunctivitis or Progressive Retinal Dysphasia
The seller assumes no responsibility of said puppy after the puppy leaves the sellers premises for medical expenses.
The breeder does not assume any liability for injury of the said puppy/dog after the date of shipping. The buyer is responsible for all shipping charges. The breeder is not responsible if the puppy is injured, lost, stolen or killed during shipping.
We will never refund any shipping charges, gas, lodging, time or loss wages for any reason.
All puppies and dogs are sold as companion animals with AKC limited registration. Puppy is sold with the understanding that it's going to your home to be a member of your family. If dog is used for breeding all health guarantees are null and void.
Guarantee applies only if the original owners are still in care of the puppy.
If circumstances become so that the buyer cannot keep this dog, buyer promises not to discard the dog at a shelter, humane society, or rescue group. Please contact me and I will help you place it in a new home or we will take the puppy back at any time.
DO NOT send one of our puppy/dogs to a pound or shelter.
Thank you for adopting and loving, one of our precious puppies. We truly wish you many years of health and happiness together. We always appreciate and enjoy updates on how our "babies" are doing in their new homes. We are available to you for any help we might be able to give you. The Puppy comes with AKC registration papers. If not given at pick up they will be mailed as soon as I receive them.
I have read this contract, understand it fully, and will abide completely in order to keep this guarantee in full effect.
